Many of our foreign language books come to us from other countries via the Marrakesh Treaty (DBGs and BRGs), but you will also find books produced by NLS (DBs), produced by network libraries (DBCs) and converted from cassette tapes or CDs (DBFs).
Anyone living in the United States, as well as US citizens living abroad, may qualify for service if they have a temporary or permanent visual or physical, perceptual, or reading disability that prevents them from using regular print materials. All books listed in this publication are free to eligible individuals. Foreign Language Quarterly is posted to the NLS website every three months.
